The MITRE Corporation is holding a Summit on Hot Topics in Supply Chain Security, bringing together many of the diverse topics related to supply chain security and resilience facing our world. The purpose of this public summit is to discuss ways to foster resiliency and security in the many different types of supply chains, find alignment, acknowledge differences, and identify specific issues facing these different areas of supply chain risks. Beth Meinert oversees the work of the federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) supporting the U.S. Treasury Department, Internal Revenue Service, Social Security Administration, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Meinert previously directed the Center for Financial and Economic Transformation (CFET), a work portfolio within the Center for Enterprise Modernization (CEM). For the past several years, Meinert has also led the creation and stand up of the Center for Strategic Competition in coordination with other FFRDCs in MITRE.
